Pros: Works seamlessly on Surface Pro. 3

Neutral: Only 2 ports. However, more are without an external power supply when Surface anyway does not make sense: An external hard drive and a USB flash drive have been overwhelmed my device. (Since the 2 ports but in the description are viewable by everyone and the lack of performance of the Surface-USB ports HUB this can not be criticized, I rate it as "neutral". Only you should know that in my opinion, before buying this device .)

Cons:
The hub wobbles. If both ports are occupied, it is - at least for me - levered out because of the asymmetric construction of the Port of Surface. The advantage of (but only slightly) lower space requirements compared to a wired hubs will thus again ruined.
