The box can be very simple (rotary screw) open. The supplied cable connections offer the opportunity both a SATA and an IDE hard drive to shoot.
The Spinpoint to shoot is something Fummelarbeit because power and data cables are a little short, but works. With four screws the plate fixed to the rear wall of the box lid, connect power cord and USB, the wars of hardware working.
For me, the combination runs under Vista. The setting was relatively easy. Under Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Disk Management to format the disk and partition set up and ready.
The drive runs pleasantly quiet in the box and have adequate ventilation in storage right venture.
There is also a small Plastikstehfuß the box should put upright. Against the vibration noise to help the supplied sticker (or a soft surface). The box has a separate Stromkippschalter.
All in all, a great combination for me and the perfect space supplement.
