The Oral-B Stages electric toothbrush children with the motive princess was assessed by Stiftung Warentest with a Good. This was for me the main reason these children a chance toothbrush. As a parent to me, however, particularly important that the toothbrush cleans well and does not damage teeth and gums. The Oral-B Stages has done well in this regard in the test. The bristles in the stair profile are around mostly, and so also prepare children who have not yet learned to brush your teeth, little problems when it comes to injuries to the gums. The design is ok. Also, I would have expected more princess, but the subject itself is attached only to the interchangeable brush head. This enables Oral-B inexpensive to manufacture the generic hand parts as a base. The differentiation in terms of motifs is then carried out only on the brush heads. My daughter likes it good anyway! The handset is also good in the hand (6 years) and does not slip off the same when the hand is wet times. There is a timer for 2 minutes programmed, which provides some indication. When premium model (not in this) there is a corresponding melody that sweetens this flush-time. But what really can be in practice a shortcoming is the relatively short battery life. For me personally it is not a big problem, because I have the brush anyway in the charger.
All in all, I find the value for money reasonable. As I said, the toothbrush landed at Stiftung Warentest / Ökotest among the top 3, which gives me a certain security. Ideal for an occasional cleaning to supplement the manual toothbrush!
