The touchpad is for me personally even better than much more expensive models, and the keypad is also fine.
At the processing there is not to expose my part.
Performance Technically, it is no longer comparable to the former netbooks. The small fuel-efficient SoC with the Celeron can with a Core 2 Duo 2 Ghz be compared roughly with ~ and at the low consumption!
In addition, Intel HD Graphics GPU packs loose accelerate HD videos on YouTube and co.
The memory is sufficient with its 32GB of documents and other minor things. In the default condition are still about 13 GB available. Speed-wise, the eMMC memory is fine, but is in no way comparable with SSD's. I would rather settle it between SDD and HDD. (Read and write speed about like a HDD, but access times and Stoßunanfälligkeit as an SSD). Who more memory consumption, thanks USB 3.0 interface access to a fast external hard drive or a USB flash drive.
In addition, the small notebook, thanks to non-existent fan and the eMMC memory, inaudible.
I can not say anything, because I had not yet opened, but in theory would have to be expandable memory, because AIDA64 has a lock of the brand Kingston appears on the expandability. The battery is probably interchangeable after removing the bottom plate. If at least the sister model E3-111-C6LG the case, where there was again the memory soldered. Beginning I have deterred me from this sister model, as this, in terms of comparable competition, poor battery life has, but this is at this model not the case here.
The screen is measured at cost in order. Bright enough and sharper than with 15.6 inch models with selbiger resolution. Only at viewing angles and contrast is lacking, but that's also the case with more expensive notebooks. For office and internet applications definitely enough! If necessary the connection of a monitor / TV via HDMI's possible.
The sound from the speakers is not suitable OK and for music and film enjoyment.
I was convinced the unit definitely and I'm thrilled, what you get here for just over 200. Microsoft's move against the Chromebook is my opinion on this unit succeeded in any case.
Oh: differences to the normal Windows 8.1 I have nowhere found except for the "with Bing" lettering behind "Windows 8.1" in the System Properties.
For which a small, lightweight and ultra-quiet companion for office applications with good input devices and excellent battery life I can give a buy recommendation definitely look even if there is a lack of memory and a third USB port would not be bad. But for some who simply looking for a small, economical device for surfing the Internet, this notebook is worth a recommendation.
(Sorry for the bad photo Quallität, unfortunately have no better camera available)
