The version on the left has nothing to do with left or right handed, but refers to the arrangement of the cutting jaws and means that you can look from the left side of the top of the section. I am right-handed and have chosen the variant left, because then I can cut with the right and thereby can look from the left to the teaser. The workpiece is then left and the waste is produced right. For me personally is that more than the commonly used metal shears right.
When slightly pressing a metal shears for cutting down and back (read somewhere), the plate warped less when cutting. This technique can be very well applied in the Erdi metal shears because of their small size and thus produces very clean cuts.
All in all I am very satisfied and award a strong buy recommendation. The price is also very fine, considering that one at hardware store or discount store also would have to lie down to EUR 10 per similar-looking no-name goods.
