With a Surface Pro 3, and therefore a single USB3 port, I am very happy with my purchase. The rates are very good in USB and GbE network. Ideal to quickly copy videos from the SD card from my camera to my NAS HD or feed my USB3 disk (2 ports) even from the battery of the SP3.
PS: Immediately recognized in Windows 8.1 (even without WiFi), a more updated Ethernet driver version is, however, available on the website of Inateck (Section Support).
