It remains to integrate all devices in a digestible program by the machine and that's where things get a little complicated and become delicate. (I had previously a 555 harmony which I have always been happy but we must accept the limits and, consequently, a relative complexity of use)
To achieve a single use, functional and adapted to their own habits, two possibilities: either we carefully studied the programming process carried out by internet (which allows to have a giant database of audio-video devices on the market) and we draw a diagram of the programming architecture that wishes to adopt, or we empirically advance in the program proposed by Logitech, even accepting the idea back when it (very likely) error, one or more times. And the more we must control devices, and their age is heterogeneous, and it's complicated!
But once we found the right balance between "use" and "devices" was an extremely simple control system (which allowed me to put into service of devices which I had grown tired of the fact the need to constantly play remotes -Cases an HD tuner for example- GTC).
More replace batteries, a battery is integrated and keeps well the load, the remote can be left on the coffee table and put it to load in its support during ...
Finally we must add that it becomes unnecessary to "direct" the zapper, sometimes with Sioux tricks on the devices to be achieved by the control signals, everything becomes a breeze, the controls as the interdependencies between devices are driven to the millimeter, without acrobatics, a real pleasure!
So why not five stars? I hesitated, as the operation of this remote is exciting, but there is still a little functional area and that remains, it seems, unfinished, is that the interconnections between applications by steering (android or itunes). As an example WD Live TV does not respond to volume control commands by infrared, so she can do it by WiFi or Ethernet, there is currently no Dinter-connectivity in this area (or so I n have not seen the manipulation of programming). To this I must also emphasize the poverty of the android app (which could handle this kind of thing) which brings not much except the possibility to have an extra remote.
We see that the limits of this truly universal remote control are minimal and easily surmountable by the manufacturer who managed intercommunication between several technical control devices even if the focus is overwhelmingly on the infrared ... Come on, a tad, and that is that it will take 6 stars!
