I run the Nubert Nupro A-200 on a media PC in Windows 7. My music is completely in MP3 format (320 kb / s) and encoded to play I use the JRiver Media Center. Previously I had for audio playback my not too new SONY STR-DE455 via TOSLINK for output to Bose 101 speakers used (these run in a 5.1 surround environment, but it will be for audio playback only the front stereo pairs addressed). In the new constellation the Nubert Nupro be controlled directly via USB from the Media PC. From the sound quality and the sense of hearing are worlds between the previous and the current playback. Nahzu each piece of music has more volume, is felt crisper and better displayed. I had bought the A-200 so because I wanted to do not connect a subwoofer, in some test reports, the A-100 can be described as too little bass strongly. The A-200 have thus no problem at all, I had rather take out the bass a bit, otherwise my neighbors would go to the barricades. From the volume level I operate the boxes usually between level 25 and 35 - it would go to a maximum of 100 jeodch. This I also tested, but began as various objects to vibrate and move I have the test completed. Possibly but the A-100 would have been sufficient :-) Otherwise, the connecting makes absolutely no problem, but the full existing cables are something simple or the cable for connecting the boxes quite short, I have this Chinchkabel replaced with a longer and higher quality. It should be noted that the volume control in USB mode only works with the remote control boxes-own. This is because the A-200 are addressed in USB operation as a separate sound card. Because of that I ansteuere the system via a Logitech connection this was no problem, the remote control was immediately recognized and is present in the product database. The shipping (UPS) and the packing done by Nubert directly. Packaging is absolutely professional but for heavy boxes and I shall lay these further for possible transport precaution.
