Therefore, I ordered with my mobile Mi3 the Piston earphones in a specialized Xiaomi online store that delivers from Europe. And was deeply impressed: Not only does the micro and the control on Android without any problems. Above all these things have a really good sound, although with a slightly soft, but enormously deep and always clearly contoured bass, pleasant, never plärrig sounding midrange and fine treble resolution. Belongs with diverse styles of music I listen to when compared to House of Marley In-Ears clearer centers (these listeners sound good but have a greatly lowered center area), compared to about three times as expensive RHA 750 balanced bass and an equally detailed joyful as uniform Presentation of mid and high frequencies. And compared to the I greatly Sound Ster M-6s can be heard more easily. A great headset for relatively little money.
But you should before the numerous (apparently available on Amazon) beware imitations and counterfeit products. They're probably not even worth the lower price.
Addendum: After prolonged use, I had compared inter alia with Beyerdynamic DTX101iE In-Ear Headphones (102 dB, 3.5 mm jack) black / anthracite and Soundmagic E10 In-Ear Headphones (100 ± 2dB, 3.5mm jack, 1 , 2m) Black / Red, what are in my ears (and after several comparative tests) very good in-ears in the price range below 100. Both headsets had opposite the Xiaomi Piston admit defeat:
The listeners of Beyerdynamic come phonetically or most closely approximates what the Piston. You can also play a very natural midrange and fundamental range, can make them audible and also play (a little slimmer, but it really accurate) Bass fine details. For example, one would be able to distinguish the DX101iE a Fender Jazz Bass sound of a Fender Precision, with the Piston hear only a good growling bass. The Piston sound a little thicker and deeper, but not quite as accurate. For the Piston much more detail in the highs are still working out and are clearly better processed (apart from the fact that DX101iE have no micro and no volume control). Sonically are both very good. I think that is ultimately a matter of taste. The Sound Magic sound overall very homogeneous, but work in all frequency ranges, the details are not so out as the two opponents. But they sound good and musical. I would compare this tone with the deleyCON SOUND TERS S6-M - Headset Earphones - In-ear design headset with microphone and control function for phone / listening to music - Black, who still make somewhat less musical detail audible. That too is a matter of taste. But my favorite against public (and not equal expensive) counterparties remain the Piston. I hear every musical style all it's always fun and the quality workmanship like better than quite simply processed listeners from Beyerdynamic and Soundmagic me. Chapeau for the Chinese engineers, who have done a great job here!
