The antenna came in a very stable packaging and all parts were present. You do not need a separate tool - what you need is in the box - good thing.
But for the mount you need a little time and good eyes, because the instructions and pictures to my mind quite could be larger. All in all, the building also for people to create with two left hands even if it will be tricky.
I was surprised when I mounted the antenna on the window frame. At first I was skeptical namely if that goes well with the weight of the antenna and last end also holds. The installation at the window was lighter than the assembly and holds the frame bombproof.
To tolerable orientation, which requires each antenna can be found in the manual good evidence and a small compass, which I at first paid little attention - a mistake as it turned out after nearly two hours of searching.
As I said after two hours "adjust", even with a so-called Satfinder (this is between LNB and receiver switched) still had no picture and wanted to give up, I took the compass on hand and flipped again because in the manual and see, let there be light , I was surprised at how "easy" it was then but.
So my tip for those who have trouble aligning: all sorts of apps, smartphone helper or Satfinder omit, read the manual, adjust antenna roughly how describe align again and rantasten step by step.
After nearly four months in use, and a number of severe weather and difficult conditions for Sat I can only recommend the antenna in fact. In good weather, I have a signal quality of 72% (more would be safe in there but it's running and I changes nothing), in case of bad weather, the quality drops surprisingly less than that of a conventional antenna (felt). Only when it was raining really hard it was to the reception there. We'll see how the proposed antenna in winter snow.
Even otherwise, despite the antenna to the weather, especially the wind here, quite good. Again, I was skeptical before.
Now I am waiting from the winter and will possibly adjust my rating.
Actually I wanted to "only" give four stars because the assembly or the description and drawings would detail can turn out. But since you already assembling the antenna once you can overlook about it. The reception at really bad weather has convinced me personally.
Positives:
- All in a box which should be there, including tools,
- Various options (windows, walls, balconies, etc.) the antenna to secure (good if you have to move times)
- Relatively subtle compared to a "bowl"
- Reliable reception even in bad weather,
- Small dimensions than a comparable "bowl".
Neutral:
- The aforementioned instructions,
- Higher price compared to conventional system (but acceptable if you can cheer on Satellite seven times five seconds rather than the "cable-neighbor" in the semifinals).
Negatives:
- So far nothing.
