With the words "Get ready, now the time comes to who rejoice" starts Rolfs first and best Christmas Album. The successor "Winter Children", "Dezember dreams" and "Silent Nights - bright light" are all pretty, but not enough to connect with the 80's ambiance.
9 of the 12 songs, Rolf himself composed, the other three ("And peace for the world", "Dear good Santa Claus" and "What brings the December") to be Germanized skillfully.
Most of the songs are mainly intended for children, but the metaphorical "Christmas, what are you?" is clearly a contemplative jewel for adults. The song Jewels delight in an optimal
Direction: the content, the journey begins in early December, and with each passing song we stride time ahead, stay ahead of Nicholas, advised in Christmas stress ("Mommy, it's high time ..."), and in the penultimate track "Merry Christmas (It is applicable) "is the Christ child at last within reach. In beautiful last song "The Christ child is born", we have the 25th of December - and all are happy. Wonderful work! And you know what? I'm looking forward like a kid again on 24 December.
