Because of the price I am always very hesitant when buying art books, but in the film (the first as well as second) I have made an exception.
In the book, many decisions are explained in the film, we see the beginnings of the design of certain scenes and characters and learns a lot of background information about the movie. I've fallen in love with the characters made famous by Nico Marlet after the first book and was delighted when I again could see many of his sketches and pictures.
The drawings are all beautiful and you get when you leaf through the book, a much better idea of what must have been a labor of film.
There are, unfortunately, only in English, so I have no problem, but maybe that deters some from buying, what would be a shame.
Who found the film really well and also want to have a look behind the scenes, but should really think about it, to purchase this book.
