What can not the product:
-perfekten surround sound simulation. (For these purposes, there is the sound projectors, but they cost 10 times and set are extremely complex)
- A huge room sonication (neither power nor housing volume ranging from to)
- I-pod, etc. to serve as a SoundStation (neither tonal vote, yet connections are intended)
If that is clear, given here for relatively little money (I paid ca.190.-) a very stylish and elegant device with superior sound quality, because the Yamaha manages to convey the speaker on a variety of channels clearly.
Even the dynamics and depth of movies is absolutely convincing.
Unlike the built-in TV speakers it sounds here never distorted, muffled, tinny and inauthentic.
I think that's real masterpiece of developers.
The whole unit is very well thought out - the installation took 10 minutes and I could immediately serve with my TV service it. The connections are perfectly adequate for my purposes - I'm going to use the device as a standard LS and occasionally as a center-LS in harmony with my 5.1 system.
The 101-also has some useful functions, such as infrared diversion, UNI-Volume (all channels remain at a volume level - works great), audio delay (Lip-Sync.) And Clear Voice (voice enhancement).
In summary, I only express a strong buy recommendation.
