Impression of an absolute novice in the field of digital SLR photography

I have the Canon 600D as my first digital SLR receive and have just put myself after initial awe of the art fresh and ready to work and herumprobiert, debugged. Good, because I've more often incorrect settings, something is not quite sharp, what I want to have sharp, or the images are a little too dark, because my experience is not always sufficient exposure time and adjust aperture and ISO completely correct. The included extensive manual was absolutely sufficient for me to grasp the basic functions and to begereifen. The included Quick Start Guide I always lead me to find quickly a solution for any questions.

The camera fits comfortably in the untrained hand. The strap is handy and useful. The case I find a comfortable grip and it is light and easy to keep clean.

My camera and I are yesterday involved in a regular downpour, the splash it could absolutely not hurt and the photos get quite hervoragend despite downpour.

The swiveling display I have yet no other function than the inverted and folded used so that it is so at the camera as if it were tightly integrated. However, it makes a very valued and stable impression and I had at the beginning afraid to make it unusable in the folding mechanism easily, this fear has now disappeared.
The display is very clear even to recognize well in bright sunlight and all necessary settings are user-friendly easy to overlook and to recognize.

The supplied Objektivkit require for me as a beginner and to try and find their way with the camera. Well, the "Zoom" is not the best, because you better is of various compact cameras but already used to, but the results are just image but in an entirely different league.

I have very small hands and had a few concerns about whether the use of quite large camera would not be difficult for me. However, this worked immediately without any problems.

Furthermore, my dioptre adjustment of Focus is very positive noticed, so I'm not forced despite slight amblyopia to wear my glasses when shooting. Whether this is actually only intended or still has another benefit, which I have not yet completely opens up, I can not say.

The battery has at least been maintained without difficulty with me and has an apparently quite a long life. Despite really much Knipserei and experimentation (about 400 pictures), I have not even been to recharge him and he still shows 1/3 full on.
The battery compartment is easy to open and acts as strong as the rest of the camera.

Filmed I've only briefly with the camera, the result was, however, in my view, absolutely fine and handling as well as simple and intuitive.

I have only photographed with the built-in flash light, which is clearly in need of improvement and my next issue in the area a better photo flash will definitely be.

Conclusion:
For me as an introduction to digital SLR photography, the camera was absolutely the right choice. No frustration because not successful images absolutely good introduction and explanation, ease of use and provide support when times quickly everything has to be set correctly by the Auto mode.
I'm excited and the camera can also be any other beginner who wants to know about the compact cameras out.
Of course, I realized that I was not exploiting the full potential of the camera, but I feel my way slowly and ran the camera gives me just to improve my photo skills and to develop even some space.

The camera has been delivered to me by a malfunction. I was not even shoot an image in a position out of the box, immediately to Error showed 30 (problem with the lock).
