1. Canon EOS 500D
2. Nikon D5000
3. Olympus E620
Surely we read various reviews and gathers information. Do basically kan at the above cameras are not far wrong, as they actually are at the same level. The only decision-making lies in the gut feeling when you hold the cameras once in hand. Differences in image quality will notice in my opinion very few people, and only then, if you professionally retouched images or special test photos shoots. This can be seen very well in the ratings of these cameras. Actually, very positive.
First my opinion on each camera:
Canon EOS 500D
Basically, from the technical specifications establish the best camera incl. The HD video function (who needs it ...).
Solely the housing and the perceived poor quality of workmanship have put me off. Otherwise very good photos are taken by this camera to be expected. Furthermore, I did not like that the display is not foldable. This makes always good if you want to put away the camera and can rotate the display to prevent scratches. I think it's a useful thing. Who, of course, prefer to look for a high-resolution display without Gimicks is right here.
Anscheined you can not have both at Canon.
Nikon D5000
Also get a very nice camera and consistently good reviews.
Many things on me the following here:
- Poor tactile feedback of the buttons and very spongy
- Largest camera here compared and quite clunky
- Better processing compared to Canon
- Folding screen is very good, but can only fold down. Not to use during tripod so
Olympus E620
My personal favorite:
- Very high quality case (In comparison the best)
- Some do not like it, but I like to have many keys for schnelen setting, such as ISO or exposure. Both available.
- The smallest housing and very compact. Although it suffers somewhat ergonomics for the right hand, but the vast time the camera's in your backpack.
- Who needs it, for there are dark moments backlit buttons
- Swivel display that show to the left leaves
- Big drawback of this camera are not the usual XD Picture Cards. Buys the crap but today nobody. Alternatively go CF cards. Not exactly perfect, but for me it was not a buying criterion.
Olympus, please finally rises to a reasonable SD card format!
- Image Stabilizer in the housing (with the other cameras in the lens). Whether negative or positive must always know yourself. With the large selection of lenses really matter.
As I said, I think you can just let them decide the gut feeling in these cameras. Good pictures make ale 3. However, I personally just compactness and excellent workmanship in connection with the good keys and the display of the Olympus really liked.
Sure, there are downsides, as with all things. But for me, these are to be ignored. The Eierlegendewollmichsau there is not nunmal and every provider has his own concepts. When switching from a bridge camera Panasonic FZ-28 I am very satisfied.
