I belong to the enthusiastic people - why?
As the hype began with the coffee machine, it must of course be a Saeco machine, because the concept was simple: commercial coffee is ground and in the cup landed a tasty coffee with a unique Crema. Unfortunately, the Saeco machine was expensive to buy and very expensive to maintain. Repairs were very expensive in most cases.
A year ago also Tchibo / Eduscho met with the Cafissimo on the market. A capsule system of the largest roaster in Germany and Austria. Were promised 3 Coffee varieties with a machine, namely regular coffee, coffee crema and espresso. For Cafissimo's unfortunately only five varieties to choose from, packaged in capsules that fit only for Cafissimo.
Clear, sounded promising and was purchased. Unfortunately, the lack of choice and a bit too bitter taste of coffee (by the way for all varieties, except for Sana) to be desired. In addition, the water tank is to hakelig in averting and after scalding the shelf was covered by the machine with coffee splashes.
Then I discovered the Philips Senseo II. At first I was very skeptical, given that many negative opinions were found in forums. However, the first cup convinced a colleague and for me it was clear: This machine must be found.
To put it briefly here positive and negative points:
+ Very easy-fill water tank
+ Easy cleaning (except for electronics all dishwasher safe)
+ Countless coffee from different manufacturers to choose from:
Regio, Jacobs, Lavazza, Segafredo, Douwe Egberts, etc.
+ Very fast brewing time
+ Great taste
+ Used pads are compostable, no residual waste
+ Great lightweight Crema
+ Very compact and space-saving machine
- Small Standard water tank (enough for about 3-4 cups), an optional twice as large as accessories are available.
- Cup filling quantity of about 125 ml low - can not be metered
Conclusion:
====
After all my experiences with coffee machines and automatic, I have with the Philips Senseo coffee maker that II found that convinces in all areas the most. From one to aqueous coffee, a lack of crema and a too low water temperature can be no question.
As a little tip I would like to mention that the Senseo II with the Jacobs Café Crema Pads brews the best coffee!
