Owner of Sims 3 on the PC will find at home immediately, because it is very similar to the PC version to the controller. From the gameplay is of course the same, you still have to create a family and fulfill wishes, opportunities to complete etc.
Two great innovations are the "challenges" and "Karma Powers". There are well over 150 challenges in the game that you can meet, from easy to difficult. So of course you have a long game, because it will take many hours until all challenges have been completed, and with the points that you get, you can unlock different things in the game. Super spur in my opinion. I do not want to reveal too much, but you get these powers by fulfilling desires and then you can do the ledge either something good or something bad about the Karma Powers :-)
Of course there are also a few things to complain about, no game is perfect.
For example, there is very little choice of clothing, hair, etc., but you will at game start immediately noted that indeed after the Sims 3 Store can buy various things themselves. I find now not so great because they had quiet can still pack a bit more variety to it. But you have afterwards also still the possibility for free download things that have been created by other players.
Graphically, the game is now no real sensation, because the PS3 has a lot more on it, but I'm just spoiled graphics from other games. And quite honestly, the game is at Sims 3 anyway in the foreground.
The camera could also be better, but all in all, the control still well done. You can quickly switch between the status of the Sims, wishes, friends, etc. and so maintain an overview without the screen is cluttered and it disturbs play.
Conclusion: Even if I have to complain about a few things, I find that the game is a best buy, especially if you like simulations. Since you have on the PS3 anyway not particularly wide range. Also, the game runs very smoothly and the load times are short, as opposed to the PC version if you have a low-power PC (like me). However, anyone who has a really good computer, I would still recommend the PC version, as there are add-ons and much more (and mainly free) downloads are, and the camera work is perfect, but that's just my personal opinion.
