I filled my memory card stock for a holiday. So far I had four Transcend 600x cards in my D800 in use. In addition still came a 1000x cards.
Contrary to expectation, the delivered 1000x card in my D800 is significantly slower than the older 600x cards. I tested as follows:

16Bilder in series. 14bit uncompressed RAW. Manual mode without screen image lens with lens cover closed. Timing between pressing the release button to invalidate the card LED.

With the 600x card which takes 19.8 seconds, with the SEC 1000x 28.6. The identical 1211MB dataset comes for 600x speeds of 61MB / s out, when 1000x only 42MB / s ...

Can anyone confirm this?
