The Songs of Distant Earth - the title could not be better chosen. Mike Oldfield created on this CD sound experience without equal and creates a mood, how to find them rarely. Contributing to some great ideas on how the initial recording of the creation story, read over the radio by the crew of Apollo mission and numerous other futuristusche sound effects. Although the main theme of Mr. Oldfield's guitar constantly re-emerges, there is still enough variety not to be boring. A special surprise is the last track, which returns the phone to the spherical heights again intensively on the earth. A very loving and imaginatively cooked CD. The CD-ROM track, which is included on some issues, however, is rather unspectacular. (This is an Amazon.com at the university-student review.)
