The opener "In The Shadows" to show what is on offer here. Symphonic-Meatl with plenty of power. Extremely powerful and catchy song.
"Songs of Love and Death" is strongly reminiscent of Nightwish, grim and powerful guitars paired with powerful vocals of frontwoman Jennifer. Strong song, the live determines hammer comes across.
With "Unbroken" the pace is taken out something. What we get is on offer here a beautiful metal ballad. First, accompanied only by piano, put on about half of the guitar a. Continuing with "Pearl in to World of dirt". The song begins with a surprise acoustic guitar and male clear vocals. Relatively quickly then sets a Jennifer. The song then turns into a beautiful duet that underscores the versatility of the album again. Later the guitars put on again and the song gains strength. Folk elements are also vorghanden, all in all a very pleasant and unforgettable song with many styles and speeds.
"Hallelujah" starts very quietly jennifer with clean vocals of frontwoman. Then put an abrupt guitars with all your strength, and the song is gaining strength and pace. "Runnig To The Edge" is weakening against something ... I find the chorus a bit boring, just "Running, running, running, to the edge ..." reminds a bit of a to the new plant of Within Temptation .... bit too mainstream ...
"Numb" begins with a somber choir. I find very well implemented. The verses are kept quiet, the chorus Jennifer is supported by the choir. Sounds very cool. I'm a fan of Chäören in Metal: D
"Drowning In Darkness" is a fast and powerful song, again with growl as support, this time also partly outside the choruses. I like it very much.
"Afraid Of The Dark" fits seamlessly into the chain of Stanpfer on this album a. Very nice and melodic chorus. Again come Growhls and choir used. At the end of a very beautiful clear there vocals of frontwoman Jennifer. Top song!
"Fall Into The Flames" is not quite as hard as the rest. Rather, a melodic rock number with a strong focus on the vocals. Ensures again for a change. I like it very much.
