I purchased the Lite Tite as umbrella holder + base for Aufsteckblitze. Application: 150er parabolic reflector (Caution, not reflective or translucent umbrella !!!)
Positives: ++ Indestructible ++ Looks good
Negatives: - When parabolic reflector, it is important that the light source is located close to the screen axis, otherwise the lighting is wrong. That goes with the Lite Tite not so good, the distance between the screen axis and flash head is quite large as on the spigot still the remote trigger and flash sit. There are umbrella holders who have this problem solved much better and since this purpose well the order and making it one umbrella and flash holder and also affects the result, will cost the massive star ...
- The hole for the screen was thoughtful enough, mounted wrong, so the distance is again somewhat minimizes the flash head. When light but applies: angle of entry is the same exit angle. Whoever fires diagonally into the parabolic reflector, the light gets too laid back again. For transparencies, screens the evenuell is safe no matter where reflex umbrellas also. But Parabolschirme to the light either more or less pool (depending on the distance from the light source). This is largely limited by an oblique lighting, the screen can only bundle "just" incoming light reasonable!
Therefore: Super sub But for Parabolschirme not well suited. Since the Paras account for most of the sensible light reduction, one would need to remember in my opinion. A car that can be driven only in eastern and northern Germany, profit a halt nix, if one wants to have a "full-fledged" car for the whole Federal Republic of ...
I have to keep him still and added myself to a private guide a conversion. The lightning depend so directly on the axle and the Lite Tite must keep only the screen, which he may well.
