The knife is really, really hot and for the children it is hereby to cut a literal breeze vegetables!
Zucchini, leeks, peppers, carrots and so on - no problem.
Our almost 4 year old still have to practice a little bit, but our nearly 6 years of gourmet and amateur cook cuts so so delicate - just awesome!
This would be impossible with a less sharp knife.
And because it is so sharp and straight is going on also cuts the risk of slipping and in the fingers cut very low.
We use no finger protection and happened so far never seen anything (my little amateur chef used the knife about 1x a week, we have been well nem half a year).
