The gameplay is incredibly simple.
Man jumps in a small level always to repeatedly elsewhere emerging Muffin to collect these.
Two things make this thing exciting.

That is what takes longer to raise the level of alter egos. Each muffin you get experience, and each level requires more of it. With each level there is a skill point for which you can unlock special moves, up to 2 extra life gets, so the muffin collecting indeed does not get much faster, but you can better unlock the other level.
And finally, one can enhance his heroes, up to two times per hero. Whether as lunges at the strongest first, or only makes his weakest, makes slightly more, is probably on every run and it probably made with the appeal of the game. For slow and steady all the heroes to be enabled, then turned to his skills might free and gets the rather expensive extra lives (10 skill points each) and then slowly but surely improved his repertoire of hero.

The game is far better than one could read here in the reviews so far.
Certainly you have to invest some time, if you want to unlock all the levels or has to be at least upgraded their favorite heroes or all heroes.
But that makes it out of the appeal of the game.
So I have to say, super game, cleverly designed, nice graphics, detailed hero. Power simply whim.
