A baby monitor has to fulfill for me mainly three functions: transferring children wines good and reliable, give a beep when the connection is disrupted, provide battery power for at least the parent. Actually this baby monitor from Beurer fulfills the stated requirements. In the beginning we were very pleased: In particular, the transfer of children's noise was very reliable: not the smallest beeped, but immediate transfer of all normal sounds - without noise. Even otherwise were not constantly zuvernehmen noise (no cracking, no noise, no foreign children). So nothing wrong with this baby monitor, which now not one of the cheapest. The fact that in addition the temperature of the nursery gets displayed or can play music, even the intercom function - which for us were additional features that we really do not need. But over time have proven to be yet so some quirks that make me advise against it, to buy this baby monitor. The transmitter is to hire only with a beep (which is annoying when you have the device do before, when the child is asleep), then the device will flash from time to time on (the receiver looking for?) - I find it disturbing, a sleeping baby probably will not mind, but perhaps a little restless sleeper bothered. The parent has an LED light that turns differently, depending on whether the receiver is turned on or displayed on the side. However, it has the same color, namely if the device is connected to the mains, but not yet turned on, and when it is turned on, but not just übertägt. So it can happen again, that you think you've turned on the device, without having done it (in the hustle and bustle, we already happen ...). After an operating time of about three months noise suddenly came strengthened before, who eventually not stopped: The unit was probably broken. In the period before the last use, it also has transferred more and more unreliable; as we have often heard the baby crying earlier, before we were able to hear a sound from our recipients. From our initial enthusiasm (if one can speak of it at all because when baby monitors; o)) had become real annoyance. So if we have not only caught a Monday device, then I would advise against any case of purchase.
