There are plenty of exercises and you can really learn a lot of techniques. But one is left entirely alone. The sequence of recommended units is far too rigid jumbled and technically part that you lose almost like the instrument in such a high level. Further exercises for the basic chords are not discoverable or hidden somewhere in any 3D zombie games.
Hence the conclusion:
Technical implementation easy five stars
Didactics: a star. Too bad.
Update 6 months later:
More and more shows or confirms that it is in fact at Rocksmith 2014 Only a game similar to Singstar and less a program for learning the guitar or the songs. So why deducting a star?
If you want to learn a song, so there are two major points of criticism:
1. Initially, at the "easy" difficulty will be stopped only pages displayed to pluck. That which is impossible for the untrained ahnezu, should be clear. What do you do? You go into the reef Repititor, adjusts to max difficulty (!) To see what is behind the chord plucking. Only now with this knowledge you can screw down the difficulty and with the chord and the now possible plucking to get actually on. Why will not appear before the song.
2. Learn to my song, even the Repititor is not really helpful because you have no way of getting the - I'll call it notes - display at rest and to practice in Ruhre. The excerpt shown by Repititor is just too short to slowly practice the consequences here. One can now, of course, press Pause. But one wants to proceed now, the Repititor not start where you pasiert, but at the very beginning of the selected section.
Conclusion: Not recommended. Even if I now have good games for six months and achieved great success, this is not due Rocksmith, but for example, Apple GarageBand (the cable from RS2014 can be used here, after all), Youtube and many "offline" exercises.
