The Onkyo CS-N755 is slightly smaller in size than the two mentioned Sony.
Impression of quality and workmanship are impeccable, in black, the system looks really great.
The speakers are a bit smaller and not act quite as high quality as the Sony (piano lacquer).
So I was a little "sobering" should be unpacked and had a fear that the Onkyo also might otherwise fall behind.
Although I see as a higher quality and demanding Onkyo brand, in my youth (80) I had a CD player, a tuner and a receiver from Onkyo, which met these requirements perfectly.
So I have the plant, built in a hurry, first on the coffee table, connected and turned on the speaker.
First had to serve a current, original CD.
Bass, treble and bass boost to +3 (PM bass) turned on.
I was more than surprised - that sounded really good!
When I had the volume turned up then, the CS-N755 unfolded their full sound volume - incredible, so I did not expect!
It's amazing how good it sounds, especially in the bass range, it has a lot to offer.
The Onkyo suggests the two Sony in sound by far!
So I have the system thoroughly tested and this was clearly the superior performance of this class.
Everything works very simple and well structured.
The reaction speed of the device software is very good.
The service at the resort itself is limited to the basic functions for the entire functional remote control is indispensable.
The remote control is designed by the design quite conservative but clear.
Also worth mentioning is the very good tuner CS-N755, this is also better than that of the two Sony.
Good signal strength and little interference.
A pity, I find that in such a great facility, although the networking and internet radio but there are only a LAN connection enables these functions.
The optional USB adapter for wireless networking and Bluetooth must be purchased separately and then occupy additional slots.
I think that here wireless equipment is a must, because who lays the like to a LAN cable to the system?
Here Sony has the edge, that's for my taste but also the only advantage.
Conclusion:
For me, the Onkyo CS-N755 is an incredibly good mini-system.
The sound is unparalleled in its class.
Definitely quality that convinced me.
But that the CS-N755-Fi and Bluetooth can not have the necessary adapters are included it costs to 5 star in my rating.
