The connection and commissioning of the external drive to USB 3.0 worked fine (they have NTFS formatted). The board is used for external data backup under Windows 8.1 to me. She works completely silent (30 cm away from the workplace). The housing is made of metal and makes a high impression. The USB cable is long enough for my purpose (about 50 cm long), but a little thick and thus not so very flexible. The value for money I think compared to other external hard drives well.
