Chessy has problems in her marriage, her husband Tate devotes all his time to his work and thus leaves his wife, and this one is increasingly unhappy. When she decided to share her distress to her husband, he realizes his mistakes and wants to take their lives in hand. But it will be enough of a phone call, which will be the fault of too much and will blow up the couple. Chessy feels betrayed by Tate, who failed in his duty of dominant and to that of husband she loves but can no longer trust him. Chessy will have to make a choice in his soul and conscience. I rarely bothered much in a short reading. I almost stop in the middle of the novel. Good afternoon, I started kicking the buttocks, motivating me it was going to maybe work out, I had to know the end but it was laborious. I did not have too much hanging on the 1st volume, and I found the second best but there it was the cake! A lot of repetitions (if you do not know that Tate works too, he loves her and she loves him, as we know more!) And in the long run it's heavy. The main characters insipid: Chessy is perfect, gentle and kind, she forgives then suddenly cracks and then freaks out and becomes docile.Elle a spoiled child who mexaspère side ... not half as we could expect in this kind of situation. Tate him, despite his dominant side it rises at bed, is insignificant. All the dialogue is bland, tasteless and uninteresting. The only positive point is that we find the previous volumes of couples (and you can tell they are very present!) And we still see the couple evolve Kylie / Jensen and I was pleased. After taking a step back, I think I do not hang with the concept of the submissive woman, who is completely dependent on her husband. I like women of character, independent man who can live without. For my first foray into the world of Maya Banks, I am a little disappointed but apparently this series is not his best ... So I try to read the other and it is without regret that I put that -C in the bottom of my library.
