I bought this unit for our daughter. They wanted a system where they can dock their iPod touch. The plant looks visually very beautiful, the workmanship is rather a little "cheap", with hard plastic. A big disappointment was that the manufacturer probably not in Apple certified Lightning components have been installed since more than music on carrying and charging the iPod are no longer supported since iOS 7. The app that Philips offers the Apple App Store, no longer works with iOS 7 unfortunately.
