To Headline:
The iPhone 4 was three years my companion. It was absolutely round. Whatever a little bothered me, the dependence on the Apple system was (I probably need not further explain), then in the end the lack of innovation and critical size. The iphone 5 says not to me. I was interested in the Lumia 920, but let me probably influenced by the more negative reports and acquired the S4. It told me purely optical is not 100% on that technology should convince me. The S4 is technically secure a fine device. But the design, (after the update) remaining mini stuttering (Android) put me not really satisfied. I wanted to try something new and bought on ebay (sorry Amazon), the Lumia 925 black with 32GB. The S4 has now my son, who also was pleased.
Reasons why I keep the 925:
- The design / grace Personally I like very well. The quality / workmanship is top, I have so far no abrasion on the aluminum (was here about reported).
- The size is perfect for me, it's all to use with one hand. For me, the dimensions are vs. a clear advantage. the L920.
- The display is great, I have now a direct comparison with the S4, a difference to FullHD I can not see. Subjectively, I find the
Display the 925 even better.
- W8 was the great unknown for me. The simplicity, the design and operation absolutely liquid have convinced me to this day (the processor will do just fine). I like W8 and will now bring me in the near future a Tablet with full W8 and only use my laptop for emergencies.
- The camera is very good, especially at night, the difference (noise) to S4 is visible. During the day, giving the two are not much. The videos succeed very well by the stabilizer.
- The Nokia own apps speak for themselves, for me as a music fan, I would like in particular to emphasize Nokia music.
What might be better is:
- Memory, I have consciously taken the 32GB version, 16GB appeared too low to me. Since I now but pack quite a lot of pictures and music to the cloud, the 16 GB would have sufficed. Despite a minor complaint.
- Apps, it will be easier, in particular MS has as yet to catch up. But, I'm not a junkie App. My son always comes and says, "Did you already," I say no then I do not know, but I do not really need too. If after a week then ask "Do you have the app also uses" comes, will I receive just a little smile. Nevertheless, there is still the result of pent-up demand. I am, however, pleased for me and in the future, the thing is increasingly homogenized, my opinion. Oh, WhatsApp! I really use the app a lot, SMS / NMS have almost become obsolete with me. For me, the app runs smoothly and without delay (compared with i4 and S4).
- Battery: true for all phones, even the Lumia 925 stops at my use max. 1.5 days. Usually it comes in the evening to the charger. I'm in my view, frequent users and after 2 weeks I make no difference to the other two devices fixed. Some loads (with me 5) need the battery but to deliver the required performance.
Personalization,: The occasionally annoying. The different regulatory volume (calls / music) must be fixed with the next update.
-DataSense: Is not it on the 32 GB version of Vodafone. Schade and incomprehensible, even if there is a data counter on Vf.
As a result, the Lumia 925 of the haptics is a great device, in which I have almost a little in love. Concerns vs.. W8 have turned me into its opposite, the simplicity and the liquid Operate make every day more fun. The development goes abolut in the right direction and will also find improvements. The key for me apps are available, even if particular MS can still go for the mass has a little catching up to do. Nokia has certainly done a great job and I'm happy!
