Optics is classy and modern at the same time. The feel I like pers. Very, the mouse is a little less plump than the Performance MX which I like better. The hand is super on the mouse and the keys fit of the position her perfectly. The thumb buttons for forward and backward are arranged Passive and you have to get used a bit, but that should not be a problem. The thumbwheel is to be controlled with absolute precision. It seems, I call it to his times muffled, so no "chatter" or "free" turn but a kind of braked property. The gestures are highly customizable via software. For "magical free spin" scroll wheel; -) ... This has again the electronic switch as the MX Revolution sooner had before and in addition, it switches between the freewheel and precision mode automatically. The response is super adjustable here.
What I do not quite like it, is the new driver. Why not integrated to the Setpoint in? I have a K740 keypad, a G430 headset and the MX Master. Here you must now install three drivers or software. The gaming software, and now the Setpoint Options software. The Options software installed no icon on the desktop, so you must always use the 8.1 tile app for Windows or yourself must create a shortcut on the desktop. While this is not a problem, but I am not entirely clear why one here from the Setpoint (all in one) goes away.
Conclusion: I would buy it again, as it combines all the best from previous MX rodents mouse. The look, I have to mention it again is simply "Hammer"! Regarding the software, it is safe even further improved, as is customary with Logitech. Which improve it's not quite true ... I thought you should feed these back together with Setpoint, as well the software is only just now.
