I know even the amateur footage of the tsunami disaster of 2004. I have also tried time for me to get an idea of the real horror that in a few moments washed so many people in an indescribable chaos.
The Spanish film THE IMPOSSIBLE portrays the events at that time from a family of five view. In the credits the viewer can read that what is shown is based on actual experiences.
It is long ago that I a film has swept so impressed and emotionally.
The devastating tsunami and its devastating effects were technically trick scary set True Effect in scene.
The disaster is for the viewer almost felt the camera in the middle of horror, anytime close to the main characters.
The actors (Watts and McGregor) here show the full range of human emotions. The child actor fill their roles perfectly made credible.
Through the excellent acting of the cast created a deep identification with the characters way.
Never have I suffered more with film characters, their despair and pain shared and looking forward to it at the end of the film!
THE IMPOSSIBLE is very big disaster movie visually stunning and emotionally gripping to the last shot and unfortunately the film is based on the harrowing events in which more than 200,000 people were killed. This one must not forget in this very well-made movie.
Bottom line, I would recommend the immense drama anyone who is mature enough to watch this excellent film not only as a simple entertainment, but it is too overwhelming.
