3 The USB cable is quite short. Me, that's fine, but it may not appeal to everyone. It is impeccable to connect on a laptop, it will be less to plug in the back of a desktop located under a desk in the absence of frontal taken. In this case, the disc may end up on the ground.

A shame: decision without looking, nothing differentiates at first glance the USB cable 3 USB 2 if not the huge label "UBS 3 / USB 2" I will turn. I would have appreciated a more discreet or a small label on the cable color key to better differentiate it from any USB cables that eventually occupy our spaces.
In short, apart from the rather nice appearance of the facade, the external design of the HD does not upscale (like a LaCie for example). It is true that the price is reasonable. I especially like having been taken on the hull.
As for performance, I did not make accurate measurements. I see a disproportionate rate on transfers between my laptop (SSD) and disk compared to my old USB disk 2. Even on the transfer of SD cards stuffed with pictures, where there must be a bottleneck reading, the transfer is clearly faster.
I will try to see it in more detail, but a priori, I am satisfied.
