This adapter sends the image and only the image. And does it well.
I watched a video on my Full HD screen via the adapter and the result was nickel.
I do not put 5 stars because the first time I plugged my speakers built made a loud noise which stopped only after restarting the Mac and even disconnected from the adapter, it continued.
