It works; comparatively higher workload than a shave

So, have now tested the Remington i-Light Essential IPL6250 infinity light cartridge some week. Although the manufacturers themselves only advertises one effect from 2-3 treatments, but one can already say something to the effect.

Handling

The appliance and especially the Ladstation is relatively large and therefore takes up much space in the bathroom. In addition, the hair removal system works with the light pulse sensor with cable. This is with 1.8m but sufficiently long.
Before first use, you should read the manual carefully in order to avoid skin damage. Dark skin types, on moles and liver spots and also individuals with skin cancer should not use the device. The skin sensor then measures whether the skin is suitable. Shave skin beforehand and then work your cm for cm and no flash of skin twice. That takes a bit if you want to make large areas of skin (eg legs).

Effect

You have to make several treatment intervals in order to achieve an effect in between that and take a break. Nevertheless, one can after the first two treatments well in advance notice that the hair grow back less and less. Of course you can also take several treatments specifically treat skin that you previously vllt. has left out, because you're not allowed at the same time several times over it on a skin site.

Expense

Overall, the treatment with such a device is something more complex than just fast times to shave their legs. Whether you want this, everyone must decide for themselves. Shaving is definitely faster, but offers the long term no long-lasting effect. Which is available with the Remington i-Light Essential course already. Whether the hair really later do not grow, or only every 8 weeks must be handled remains to be seen. But I could not test the device in enough detail.

Light cartridge

In the item description says that the light cartridge must not be replaced. In the user guide on the other hand is that the cartridge holds 2 years (ie the duration of the warranty period). What costs would be interesting to know.

Conclusion

The effect of the device is undisputed. I personally, however, the effort compared to the result is too high. If still costs come to me (replacing the cartridge), I can not estimate, I have my doubts. Since everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to run the effort and less hair growth has, or at least reaches to the old method.
