So, with regard to the Selfie stick, we bought it as a gift for someone. However, we did get a chance to use it many times, and have been very impressive. I think that the design of the stick is great. It collapses and easily extended, but do not you feel like it's loose. It feels very stable, even at the longest length. It works really well. I recommend it to anyone looking for a Selfie Stick.
