Jazz-Metal at its best

As the two previous albums were pretty damn good I hardly dared to launch the new plant of AAL ... And designed in fact, the Ersthören of THE JOY OF MOTION not just as a pleasant walk through the highly unique sound universe of the trio to Tosin Abasi. Here meets stick hard, extremely virtuosic played instrumental metal to progressive rock, in this case on a lot Jazz & Fusion, garnished with a little funk and soul and acoustic Metal. All right?

THE JOY OF MOTION manages (after repeated listening) then actually easy to put on the top of previous releases of Animals As Leaders - tonally and compositionally course. Gentle listener expects almost incredible "trip to hell" out of great compositions, in which Beethoven would have fallen to his knees, supported by three musicians (guitar, guitar & drums) the anno 2014 are unparalleled and moving musical boundaries ever and ever outward. In any case, THE JOY OF MOTION is an album addictive and a musical masterpiece, which can be hardly exceeded well.

Quite clear recommendation - for me it is already the album in 2014!
