All About You (Audio CD)

Customer Review

2009 Jeremih Felton could with his self-titled debut album, and the two corresponding hit singles "Birthday Sex" and "Imma Star (Everywhere We Are)" already reap the first successes. Since it does not seem now surprising that the 23 year old brings a little over a year later, his sophomore album at the start. The title "All About You" adorns the good piece, which comes in a total playing time of 43 minute, which will be reflected in 11 songs. This time Jeremih has made to make the album largely lyrical alone again be, but was on the one or other feature yet not waived, in which case 50 Cent and Ludacris are mentioned.

"All About You" starts with two cute Slow Jams in the form of "All About You" and "Xs and Os". Both stand out with huge beats combined with piano and energetic Synthes, where "Xs and Os" makes in the end by his light at the same time catchy chorus a little more fun. With "Down On Me" is now available on the next single, and here Jeremih has none other than 50 Cent brought to the side. The push end Beat is skillfully accompanied by mysterious melody elements and Jeremih delivers a good performance from, and also 50 cents pretty neat blends with its monotonous rap style to the track. It continues with a soulful quartet from the song "Take Off", "I like" feat. Ludacris, "Waiter (The 5 Senses)" and "Broken Down". Especially "Take Off" knows its accompanying string accompaniment to inspire the cool beat and a Jeremih in top form, whereas "I like" and "Waiter" represent solid bed music, almost 1, however: similar to 1. "Broken Down" is a wonderful soul song that you would probably expect from a John Legend as of Jeremih, yet he has managed zusammenzubasteln a harmonious structure from shallow, slow drums and perfected piano inserts, let his voice come gloriously to bear , Another Slow Jam, the styles from her look at "Take Off" oriented follows now with "Holding On". Poignant material from the first until the last second of the 3 1/2 minutes, are ideal to relax and you can literally merge with Jeremih's vocal abilities. Again, more pepper brings into play "Wanna get up" therefore, which vigorously spewing through its urgent beat, playful electronic melodies and the partly onset sirens fire. "Sleepers" Unfortunately, not great points, there a so happens here like listening to "Birthday Sex", only in a slightly modified version. The end of "All About You" sealed a pretty ballad called "Love Do not Change", in Jeremih again is a real stunner.

In effect, the overall assessment to Jeremih's second album "All About You" is not so easy to make. After 2-3 complete runs you get though a sound RnB album but definitely still a lot of potential has still up and it's certainly the one or other corner something is missing to Jeremih's 2009er debut unlock. On the one hand it is not a doomsday when "All About You" missed, on the other hand, the panel does have to offer many a song, which is worth to listen to ... but as the saying goes, "Tastes differ", that is, everyone should its own forming opinion.
