My expectations were definitely not too high, I just wanted a bit better sound, a little more bass and definitely have more volume. Yet he is not a particularly enriching for me. In direct comparison to the iPhone speaker this is just a little and almost insignificantly louder, but nothing more. No Klangwunder, no wow effect when you turn it in terms of quality and almost no difference to the built-in iPhone / iPad speakers. Bass are virtually non-existent and for my taste it sounds much too tinny.
I have now decided to send him back to Amazon.
