And indeed, I had high hopes for the disc, as the great piece of "Paradise (What About Us?) Was published. Although the piece is still very commercial, but by working with Tarja went for me a dream come true. The prerelease version of "Silver Moonlight" on the download single recalled their debut album "Enter." The interplay gave Sharon den Adel and Robert Westerholt and his growling vocals one then the prospect of a truly hard disk.
In fact, what I now present here is after repeated listening still very hard - hard to accept. The disk is simply a lack of a concept. There is a lack of "common thread". While the individual songs are considered per se mostly very catchy, but because of their diversity, it is not fun, the CD at a time to be heard. The four songs with the guest singers make it even better. Although "Paradise" is still one of my favorite songs, but taken as a whole make the four songs the disc rather commercial. It is apparently the masses be served and no longer the old fan here. Also in the pre-release version so ingenious "Silver Moonlight" can only disappoint. The arrangements are the growls over so so in the foreground that are already barely perceives this. One might therefore even play this song on the radio and no one would notice.
The remaining songs of the disc make me then ultimately not so much that I could say ... "WOW!". Therefore no recommendation to buy the album for me is worth and I have to say, the previous album "The Unforgiving", which was even accused of being "commercially", I liked much better by the Eingängikeit and the continuous concept of songs.
