Pros:
-Very easy to use software, runs fine on Windows 7 64
-Small, lightweight, USB protected during use by sealed cap
-measures Both relative humidity and temperature
Cons:
-indicator lights do not work 90% of the time, Resulting in cases in Which You Do not Know if the logger is logging
-'on 'button is almost impossible to tell When You push it. Mine is at a 45 degree angle into the device and hardly retracts When pushing it
-flimsy, low-quality assembly and housing. Having worked in electronics assembly, my first thought upon opening the device and seeing the cheap plastic clip holding the casing together what "how long is this thing going to last before breaking?"
Alternatives:
At the sametime I purchased this product, I also bought ELV Elektronik's waterproof WTDL1 temperature sensor. Having Used Both and not needing the humidity for my work, I would recommend the ELV product as it is in the same price range, but is much more accurate (0.0625 vs C 1 C), professionally Constructed (polycarbonate housing) and is in my opinion a much better overall product. If PCI retooled Their sensor and upgraded the cheap manufacturing (If They save there, how can you not be sure They did not skimp on the measuring device as well?), I would reconsider.
