The installation is really easy. After inserting the batteries, I just had to decide where to place the bell and find a power outlet for connecting the power receiver. Then the most important decision: choose from 52 melodies. I like that you can assign a different tune to each of the chimes. The four volume levels are strong enough. When the ringer is on, the chime sounds and the blue LED flashes, providing a visual indication as well (useful for the hearing).
According to the producer, the signal will travel up to 300 meters (unobstructed). I tested it successfully at a distance of 80 meters from the doorbell and with walls and trees along the way. The melodies are a bit sharp but are easily audible (I prefer longer). There are so many choices and styles that you will undoubtedly find some that you like.
