After I had learned to know the former blue 979.10 Wedo scissors and value (also for left-handed daughter ideal!) And the red 97610 - quite similar looking and the same length in the picture - had discovered by chance, and for the great price of a few euros, I wanted to try this as a replacement / Reserve same time. Everything would be OK (blade cutting is going well), if not the handholds to close would substantially, making my fingers (have a bit more hands, but am not a 'giant') are pinched downright. Do not understand why Wedo has since thrown its ergonomic experience overboard (I once measured it: blue Wedo 25mm space for fingers was reduced to 16mm - 19mm forefinger worked for me!). A real shame! However, my opinion with fairly small hands or children / youth at all suitable only for people, great fun is likely that even this does not make! The long trough is next to the narrowness even without noticeable ergonomic rounding as jammed's just uncomfortable when cutting (thumb trough would be acceptable). When considerably more expensive competitors blue I have however finally the big negative point with the plastic nut (see reviews on this) confirm that is with me already got broken (but only after several years of use ...) - and there can be only still a hobbyist do something, for 'average consumer', the scissors are then broken. What do Zeus said ???! ...
