Remained the same, fortunately, is also the size of the internal memory. Where certain competitors appear to refrain entirely on it, the Nikon comes up with neat 86 MB. If not so equal to the memory card on hand, you can fewest ever try around a bit and make some snapshots. A bit of a shame, I find the fact that you can not continue to lead the experiment in terms of battery that you started with the L820 here. That would have been an innovation that would have paid off. So here again factory Nikon rechargeable batteries instead of the commercially available R6 batteries.
Otherwise we get here as mentioned accustomed quality of the 7000 series.
Autofocus is fast and accurate and not rum wobbles even at higher zoom levels. With the lightning we get a little further than its predecessor. Even in poorly lit areas can be found here again enormously good results in terms of noise performance and the color / image quality. Haptic she feels slightly different than its predecessor. The other quality features remain pretty much the same.
Conclusion: Due to the quite moderate price, which is lower compared to its predecessor just a piece, the P7800 is probably seen more as a minimal upgrade to P7700. If you own the 7700, you need as a transition probably not thinking. As a new purchase without previous model is good but worth a recommendation. As mentioned earlier you get here the full Nikon - quality to the rather narrow price! In my eyes the perfect counterpart to the DSLR, but not directly what the dimensions are for the small pocket, because that just a little too bulky!
From me, there's a strong buy recommendation and a perfect score. In my eyes, although one might be premature upgrade to its predecessor (because as mentioned enough innovations) but that does not make a good piece indeed equally bad!
