Kettle with risks

I had decided on this kettle because I was looking in the water for a device without plastic parts.
The water is quickly cooked, the cooking process is, however, quite noisy, but it did not bother me.
Also the plastic cover that does not come indeed in contact with the water, does not constitute a KO criterion for me.

Basically, a good device for that price ...
if not for the following problem would be:

The power switch has quite a large opening where water can penetrate. Also there is a glow lamp, which is running on AC. I come from the electrical engineering industry and I have to say that I got a panic when I saw the power button, I do not want to know what happens when there once water gets accidentally (danger of life?)
The automatic shutdown after the water-functioned actual cooked not at all in my device. I have several times tried it, until my kitchen full of steam was, nothing stirred. Also this is a security risk.

I have therefore the unit returned because the device represents a major security risk for me.
Therefore, only 1 point.
