To play I can say broadly that it's really fun and captivating. I've played it three weeks at a stretch, really long almost every day.
It is a classic turn-based strategy game, but without resource management, so you need not build farms and cities secure (but free). After the class selection between Warrior, Mage and Paladin you go through the relatively linear story (here and there one may vary slightly between good and evil, but almost does not change the gameplay). The whole world is wonderfully cheesy, from the colorful world of the music, to the really nice classic creatures like knights, elves, dragons and skeletons is simply all there. The battles - the heart of the game - are animated and fun class, also run quite fast actually. The game world is large enough where they can never be large enough for me, and so is also here at some point end. But there is already a successor in the works. Incidentally, I do not find that here infinitely riding is called for, there are some abbreviations which gradually come into play. I know a lot of games where it is corrosive.
But what is the most fun and what most disappointed me? Here are my hits and misses
+ The idea with the Wutgeister, the alternative "spellbook is innovative and beautifully implemented into play, because you have to explore it even a little.
+ The story is well done and the gameplay itself is pleasantly challenging and constantly arouses the desire for the next level or the one point more magic
+ Nearly all creatures have special properties that allow many individual tactics
- Sorry, no dialogues in the game except for the intro been set to music, that is to say: Read! I think, here was neat atmosphere away. If you want to express it positively: Reading stimulates the imagination, as the voices might sound.
- The classes are separated only slightly from one another, in my first game I was able to conjure up much too good a warrior. I then again started a game as a magician, but not played to the end, because although the monsters on the map as well as the locations of treasures / objects is re-rolls, but otherwise nothing.
CONCLUSION:
I can recommend it for fans of the genre in any case, a really worthwhile investment.
