So far I have Bluetooth retrofitted in my car on the Belkin AirCast and was almost satisfied basically: the device connected via AUX jack with the jack on the radio, power supply via the cigarette lighter, an additional USB port for the smartphone charger. Cabled for satellite control and as a microphone for handsfree you glued onto Armaturembrett - the cables are so thin that they can be almost invisible hiding in the cracks. So the AUX input of the car radio music playback from your smartphone in fact very good quality via Bluetooth when activated, possible as speakerphone is realized. Here you have to simply get used to it, to accept incoming calls through the satellite "and not on the smartphone. Both devices work so far nearly equal in sound quality, no difference can make even the initial setup is the same. And yet, there are four major differences. Firstly, the Pairing: While you have to produce the Belkin device before each trip by pressing a button on the satellite manually connect between smartphone and Bluetoot set, this happens automatically after a single setup at Kinivo. We are talking only of a button each way - and yet created here at Kinivo the impression to use the more comfortable and more complete product. The main point is the speakerphone. When Belkin AirCast my interlocutors complained every time about the fact that they understand me badly. I then only performed Notgespräche and slightly cramped sitting hunched forward, to be a little closer to the microphone. Quite different this is, surprisingly, my Kinivo: the same position in the car I can sit comfortably reclined and speak very relaxed - the voice quality was confirmed to me every time as wonderful. Now I can really relax and feel secure phone while driving, who would have thought? As a third point, the activity comes into play. While the Belkin AirCast a noble-subtle blue light ring has, the permanently lit when activated, the Kinivo device comes up with a blue diode that flashes brightly at intervals of about 30 seconds. During the day this is still bearable, when driving at night is annoying and irritating. I'm trying to stick to the diode, the optical is however no gain. I do not see how you can come to such an idea. But one would have to subtract the Kinivo actually more than a star in the evaluation. Finally comes the fourth point added the music control. Again, subject to Belkin, because only a precisely timed double tap can übersprigen a title. This run does not always work. The Kinivo other hand, has two discreet buttons for backward and forward navigation. A real privilege! Still, I would give the Kinivo preference as auto pairing and obviously significantly better voice quality make a huge difference.
