Klaus Hoffmann is one of the few musicians in our country that are unmistakably on the one hand, never get bored on the other side. This applies both musically and lyrically in. It shows Hoffmann's incomparable talent for beautiful ballads and chansons (island songs, Today I'll save the world ...) as well as "new musical experiments" in which he can be influenced for example by the bouzouki sound. In the resulting title "If you love" and "My mother's men" are certainly among the highlights of the album, which certainly hardly known weaknesses. The lyrics are as always worthwhile to listen more closely. Hoffmann was never one who complains to the admonishing forefinger misery around the world.
