We had 4 coffee machines in the past 5 years.
First, a rather expensive Saeco, which has coffee maintained at about 3500 cups a little over 3 years. Then the first repair was due - with more than 250.- Euro. Not necessarily what I expected.
After DeLonghi ESAM 3x 3000. These machines were in each case after 3, 6 and 10 months faulty. Thanks again to Amazon for the smooth handling of warranty cases.
We had the DeLonghi repeatedly bought back because the coffee was better for our taste and hot and, by the other type of brewing unit, the cleaning was much easier than with the Saeco.
However, the air was to 3x returns then out yet.
The Krups EA 6930 we have now for almost 4 months. Espresso and coffee are excellent, because if one takes the right coffee - one thing that is the same for all machines! Of the cheapest scrap coffee and the most amazing machine can not make a top-line coffee!
Crema is good, the coffee is very hot, even if the cup is not preheated (hotter than any of the other machines), the amount of water is very beautiful and precisely adjusted and strong or double espresso and coffee, the machine also. So if the coffee is too thin / watery, I would just set the record straight.
The cleaning is extremely easy because the brewing unit is not expanding. Only the water collection and the grounds container empty. As mentioned in other reviews, this is quite often required (in the pulp container would surely 3 times the amount of fit), but which has the advantage that the waste does not get moldy. This cleaning in the dishwasher is not absolutely necessary. So for me, not a negative thing. The same applies to the lack of heating plate. The coffee is really hot enough and a hot plate costs only useless power.
For a bigger budget with 3, 4 or more people drinking coffee, I would not recommend the machine, however. For water and collecting container or emptying intervals are less than optimal dimensioned.
We are using this machine in any case very satisfied. Hopefully they keep a little longer than the previous fully automatic.
