Since I have both camera bags in use and both are very different, but I can only set to a bag a Rezi, the then under two bags, I go here on a two bags:
AmazonBasics Camera Case Large - 4 star:
A good camera bag should not be too small, can accommodate a camera and equipment and offer good protection against environmental influences such as moisture, dust or eg flying sand. Also important is the comfort, because you have to carry a lot of weight with it with a well-filled pocket.
Processing: The Amazon Basics camera bag at least some of these requirements are met. The build quality is good, the seams are placed sensibly and do not have open ends. Under the upper pocket cover which closes the whole, there is another cover, which acts as an interior pocket for smaller items such as memory cards hidden. This cover is closed with a zipper before the bag cover is placed. Thus, the camera is well protected from dust and sand.
Place: The main compartment is well padded and protected with a thick padding to prevent shocks. But could still fit into this bag into it for my needs. My Nikon D5300 takes up most space in the middle compartment and just fits with attached 18-105 mm lens cross inside. The lens hood is on the left just a little square. To the right of the camera fits a 55-200 mm lens, but then the bag is in the main compartment also already full. Lightning, as in the illustration would only reingestopft still fit.
An iPad Mini would actually still just as precisely fit into the rear lying compartment inside pocket, but the camera takes now the most of the space and each additional part would cause the individual parts seem very cramped and reingestopft what prevents rapid removal and possibly loaded the material of the equipment during prolonged transport unnecessarily.
The patch pocket on the front is very convenient for cleaning accessories and filters and two side-mounted pockets also offer enough storage space for smaller accessories.
Under his pocket two well be closed belts offer the option to strap a tripod under the bag, but what I do not use, because then all must pay attention to the bulkiness of his baggage.
Comfort: The bag has a reasonable comfort as the wearer facing side is straight and smooth and does not rub on clothes. The strap is indeed padded top, but the padding quite hard and inflexible. Here softer material could still greatly increase the wearing comfort.
Unfortunately there is no information as to whether the material of the bag is waterproof.
In heavy rain, I was with her on the road has not yet, but I expect that the reference, at least to some extent is water repellent. The thick padding it will take some time to get moisture into the interior, and by then you have certainly brought their equipment to dry land.
My conclusion: With this bag in Large gives a basic bag with basic equipment. The bag is big enough for an entry-level DSLR with attached lens, one or two baffles and an extra lens.
The comfort is improved, but acceptable. The protection against impact, dust and flying sand is present, but there is no indication on the protection against moisture, but an asterisk less.
AmazonBasics Camera Case Medium - 3 star:
Also this bag is well made, however, is much smaller than the pocket in the Large version and not so well padded, no matter how well sealed as the big version.
In this case my little Nikon D3200 fits with attached 18-55mm lens. In addition, just space for my 55-200mm lens and narrowly fits even the lens hood into it. Two small compartments provide space for memory cards or other accessories and that was it already.
Lockable is the only pocket with a flap and a plug-in system, a zipper is missing. The padding is much thinner than in the large bag. Thus, the camera is protected in my opinion not enough against bumps or sand and dust. Water-repellent the fabric does not act and this property is also nowhere described in relation to this case.
The strap is very hard and inflexible, and the bag can be rapidly uncomfortable even with a slight content. Through the above patch handle they can, however, also wear well with the hand.
Conclusion: A bag that is more appropriate in my opinion, for indoor activities. An expensive camera equipment I would not trust the medium pocket safe.
